Two Plus Who is a Soul and Jazz collective started by Evelyn Warden and Roy James. Two Plus Who is a revolving group of musicians that can be seen gigging in a duo, trio, or quartet setting. Evelyn and Roy wanted to start this group as a “plus who” to welcome other musicians to sit in with them to fill their band and play their funky grooves. You will find this group playing tunes to the like of Mack Gordon’s There Will Never Be Another You, Sam Cooke’s What A Wonderful World, Erroll Garner’s Misty, When the Saints Go Marching In, to funky tunes such as Herbie Hancock’s Chameleon, to their very own originals such as the groovy horn head titled Just Gettin’ Started written by Evelyn and Roy.

Evelyn is a multi-instrumentalist currently getting her Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies Performance and a minor in Music Industry Studies at Loyola University New Orleans. Throughout her decade long career she has won many awards as a woodwind player. She specializes in the Saxophone and is known for her rich old-timey tone that people love.

Roy is also a multi-instrumentalist who has performed in and around the Greater New Orleans area for much of his late teens/early twenties, collaborating with local talent through educational and professional opportunities. He’s gone through many musical phases, focusing mainly on learning rhythm section instruments and improving his vocal artistry, but has recently been developing a Hip Hop production catalog under the pseudonym “Detayle!”. Nevertheless, Roy James still loves performing R&B, Soul, and Jazz at any chance thrown his way.
